We have a new RMS Report available for download. This will show sales by the hour for each day. You can see your peak times for help in staffing. This is similar to the hourly sales on the Z report. You must register to access Downloads.

Our CMS Software - PostNuke ( www.postnuke.com ) had gotten out of date. This caused a serious security risk, and a lot of "comment spam" on our site. We have upgraded to a new version - but as a result of the move a few features are being transfered by hand. Downloads and web links will appear to be missing as we update and add them back into the modules involved. We wanted to rush to close the security gap, so these features will be updated nightly starting Wednesday until they are fully restored. If you need the files the old site is still up at http://www.JeanHolland.com/postnuke/index.php until the transfer is complete.

This new query which is available in our downloads section will generate a valid UPC check digit for existing 11 character UPC codes where the check digit has been deleted. In addition, a URL is provided in the download description which will allow you to verify the resultant check digit on an interactive web site.

A set of Return Material Authorization templates have been added for use with Inventory Transfer In. Once downloaded you should assign these templates in Administrator for Inventory Transfers and Inventory Transfer Receive. Files are stored in the downloads section for RMS.

I recently spent many hours with a customer who deals with lots of special orders, work orders and the like. They often override deposit to avoid having to collect or refund small amounts of money when a client changes their mind on a work order item. This document explains the effects of applying the deposit override to a work order and how to work around it. Please sign into your user account and go to the downloads area. Three new reports have been added to our library of free downloads: Detailed Sales by Batch, Department Summary Sales by Day and Detailed Tender Summary. These reports address concerns of our customers when they want to try to balance sales to a Z report, see summary department sales data for a particular date or range, or see a tender report that includes payments on account and deposits for orders. We are happy to announce that each week, the standings will be posted in the Web Links Section of our web site. To access these documents, please create a user account through the link under the login prompt. The system will email you a password. When you receive your password, return to this site and log in. Then go to the Web Links Section from the Module Menu on the left. Choose the Monroe Women's Pool League area. All documents will be available to you to view, download or print. The time-in and time-out columns now have a better format showing hour, minute and second on the Punch In and Punch Out columns. This corrects the format of the column which currently only shows the date in and date out with no time elements.

I just put a zip file of three Bar Code Blaster label formats, including 1 butterfly and 2 versions of the popular 1x1 2-up label in the downloads area of our site. Hope they provide a convenient starting place for your own revisions. You must be a registered user to reach the download area.

The Custom Z report has been improved to include totals by register and overall. In addition formatting has been added to show dollars and cents instead of just whole dollars.

The Verifone Pin Pad 1000 has officially been replaced with the Pin Pad 1000 SE. Legislation that took effect on January 1, 2004 requires all new credit and debit PIN CODE entry to be performed on hardware that is Triple DES compliant. The Pin Pad 1000 is not Triple DES compliant, while the Pin Pad 1000 SE is. Contact your Verifone rep for more information.

Thanks to Todd Oya of Retail Solutions, Inc., we now have two very important documents available for download. HQ Users Guide and HQ Getting Started Guide. Both documents are in the Download section. These are available in zip format. When expanded, the documents are in pdf format.

The newest addition to the Downloads link is the updated RMS XML Receipt Technical Document. Registered users can log in and click on the download link, then go to the Retail Management System Category to find this document.
